Sowieso cartoon

I had the opportunity to create a monthly cartoon series for Nieuwint & Van Beek, a reputable Dutch accountant and tax firm, spanning over a period of 5 years. The purpose of these cartoons was to engage their audience on social media platforms and address current news and developments in finance, tax, and business.

The process involved meticulous research to identify relevant news topics that aligned with the firm's brand and values. Once a suitable topic was selected, I would brainstorm and conceptualize a humorous twist that added a light-hearted touch to the subject matter.

After finalizing the concept, I would proceed to the creative phase, which encompassed various disciplines such as art direction, graphic design, illustration, typography, and layout. The goal was to create visually appealing and engaging cartoons that effectively conveyed the intended message.

The collaboration with Nieuwint & Van Beek provided me with a valuable platform to enhance my skills in visual storytelling, creative problem-solving, and effective communication within the context of finance and business. It was a rewarding experience that allowed me to combine my passion for art and design with the complexities of the financial world.
